COURSE OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) is a comprehensive system for assessment, diagnosis, and acupuncture treatment developed by Japanese physician Toshikatsu Yamamoto.<\/p>\n

Yamamoto\u2019s YNSA was discovered in the 1960s and was first introduced to the world in 1973 at the Ryodoraku Congress in Osaka. Over the past 50 years, Dr. Yamamoto has continually worked to improve and refine the system.<\/p>\n

In the early 1970s, the method consisted of a single somatotopy or microsystem (a correspondence between a point on an area of the body and a specific area of the central nervous system, organ, muscle, etc.) located on the forehead with five basic points. Throughout these years, Dr. Yamamoto has discovered many more points, as well as other somatotopies not only on the head but also in other parts of the body. Yamamoto\u2019s YNSA is, after auriculotherapy, the most widely used microsystem worldwide.<\/p>\n

The system is highly effective in treating both acute and chronic pain, as well as various neurological disorders, such as post-stroke sequelae. Additionally, it has been proven to be highly effective in numerous pathologies.<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This intensive weekend program will be taught in person by the course instructor and author of the accompanying book, Professor Juan Hahn.<\/p>\n

The course aims to open up new professional horizons for acupuncture practitioners, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to master the Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) System.<\/p>\n

The course will be held in person at in, with a strong practical focus where you will learn the techniques and system of Yamamoto\u2019s YNSA scalp Acupuncture.<\/p>\n

The course will include a theoretical introduction to this system and its evolution, from the first and only somatotopy (or microsystem) included in the early 1970s, to the additional somatotopies and points that Dr. Yamamoto has discovered in subsequent years\u2014not only on the head but also in other parts of the body. All theoretical knowledge will be applied in practice, as this is the true essence and objective of the course: to prepare students for the clinical use of this system.<\/p>\n
